The Széchenyi Chain Bridge,is a suspension bridge that spans the river Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest.. opened in 1849, it was the first permanent stone bridge across the Danube in Hungary.The portals are decorated with lionhead-shaped capstones and the coat of arms of Hungary with the crown and a wreath of leaves.
